Edinburgh Chimneys
Comely Bank Avenue - ED002
Comely Bank Avenue is in the Stockbridge area of Edinburgh and some would argue it’s within the Edinburgh New Town. It’s cobbled and wide and about halfway along it rises up at a steep angle. The chimneys and bay windows present themselves as perfect patterns to carve wee slices from.
I revisit this scene often, in different types of light and weather, and sometimes with a moon to embellish the straight lines.
Nikon D850 and a 200-500mm lens.
